Our In-reach/Outreach Committee is a ministry which addresses the needs of individuals and families in the Medford area.
Examines the needs and responds in consistent and organized ways whenever possible, both to our own community and the greater community. Examples: Covenant House Christmas Stockings for Homeless Youth, Food collections for Community Services and St. Vincent Du Paul
Works to alleviate hunger through our Community Luncheon Program which prepares food for the working poor and homeless people in Burlington County, participation in food distribution with Wawa Harvest Program, raising funds for Crop Walk Hunger Program and IOCC-International Orthodox Christian Charities. Additionally we collaborate by providing meals and fellowship while others are the host for Interfaith Hospitality Network
Visits the elderly and homebound wherever they may reside to offer support and gain a glimpse into the lives of faithful parishioners
Offers opportunities aimed at educating parishioners about resources in the community, building relationships and giving purpose to our coming together. Our annual covered dish supper-Family Fun Night, highlights our good cooks, followed by games of all kinds for adults and children
Meets monthly after the Divine Liturgy. All are welcome. Date of meeting posted in Crossroads newsletter
