Visitors and Inquirers
|
Orthodox
Church of the Holy Cross has a large population of converts as well as those
born into the faith and we encourage all who are interested to come, visit our
parish and get to know us so they can experience the American expression of
Eastern Orthodox Christianity for themselves. Our rich life in Christ can
be seen on our parish life
page. Come and See! is the statement you will hear
when asking an Orthodox Christian about their faith.
Orthodox Christianity is not mere knowledge. Our
faith is experiential. It is a lifestyle and the experience of the
Orthodox Liturgy is central to our faith. |
US Statistics on
Orthodox Christianity:
-
90% Eastern Orthodox congregants who are
American-born.
-
51% Orthodox Church in America (OCA)
members who are converts (including the New Metropolitan of All America
and Canada)
-
56% OCA clergy who are converts.

lifestyle, there is a rich wealth of information about the historical Orthodox
Christianity, but true faith to the Orthodox is both believing and doing.
If you would like to learn more about our parish and
our faith we recommend you come to our services for a first hand experience.
We look forward to meeting you. We also encourage you to contact
